How to Enter. The Domain Madness Contest (the “Contest”) begins at 12:00:01 a.m. CDT on March 22, 2011 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. CDT on March 29, 2011 (the “Contest Period”). Entrants must log on to http://www.domainmadness.com/contest.php, complete the online entry form and vote for the Domain names they believe will sell at the auction on April 5th and 6th, 2011 using the Domain names provided on the website (“Entry”). Indicate a “yes or “no” answer as to whether you think the Domain name will sell. For each correct guess as to whether the name will or won't sell at auction the following points will be awarded: Sold - 2, Unsold - 1. All Entrants will be required to complete an Entry form that may include entrant’s Name, Age, Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number and email address. All submissions become the exclusive property of the Sponsor. Submission of an Entry grants Sponsor and its agents the right to publish, use or adapt such Entry in any way, in any and all media, without limitation, and without consideration to the Entrant.
Eligibility. The Contest is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older. Employees, contractors, directors and officers of Sponsor, Promotion Activators, Inc. and their parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, distributors, and the advertising, fulfillment, judging and promotion agencies involved in the development and administration of this Contest (collectively, “Contest Parties”), and their immediate family members (parent, child, sibling and spouse of each) and those living in the same households of each are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. By participating, Entrants agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the judges, which will be final and binding in all respects. BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY, ENTRANT ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HIS/HER ENTRY MAY BE POSTED ON SPONSOR’S WEBSITE, IN SPONSOR’S DISCRETION. By entering, you acknowledge that Sponsor has no obligation to use or post any Entry you submit.
Number of Entries and Disclaimer of Liability Regarding Entries. Limit one entry per person/e-mail address for the entire Contest Period. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, stolen, misdirected or late submissions. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions or other errors, failures of any kinds, delayed computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. At the Sponsor's discretion, entries that contain unsuitable content or that are in violation of third party rights (including, but not limited to, copyrights) will be immediately disqualified. Sponsor retains sole discretion as to what constitutes unsuitable content and will not be liable in any way for disqualified entries.
Judging. Entries will be judged by the Sponsor based on the total score for each Entrant. The Entrant with the highest score will be declared the Grand Prize winner. The decisions of the judges will be final and binding on all matters relating to this Contest. In the event of a tie the Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted by the Sponsor.
Prize. One (1) Grand Prize: a check for $1,000.00. Approximate Retail Value: $1,000.00. No substitution or transfer of prize is permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release. Grand Prize winner will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release and return it within seven (7) days of prize notification or prize will be forfeited in its entirety and will be awarded to the next highest scoring entrant. No prizes will be awarded until such signed release from winner is received by Sponsor. By submitting an Entry, a winner agrees to allow use of his or her name and Entry, in full or in part, for any and all purposes in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed without territorial or time limitations and without compensation, including, but not limited to promotional and advertising purposes.
General Terms & Conditions. If any Contest prize notice or Contest prize is returned as undeliverable, or if information provided by potential winner is unintelligible, prize will be forfeited. By participating in the Contest participant agrees to release, hold harmless and indemnify Sponsor, Promotion Activators, Inc., their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiary companies, distributors, sales representatives, advertising, sales promotion and judging agencies and the employees, directors, officers and agents of each from and against any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, harm, damage (including but not limited to property damage, personal injury and/or death), claims, actions, costs and expenses (including without limitation, all attorney’s fees and court costs) arising directly or indirectly from, or in connection with, his/her participation in the Contest, acceptance, possession or use/misuse of the prize or participation in any prize-related activity or any use of the Entry submitted. Winners are solely responsible for any local, state, or federal income taxes on prizes. Sponsor reserves the right to take such action as it deems necessary to enforce these Official Rules and ensure the fair operation of the promotion, including without limitation, barring and disqualifying participants who do not comply with these Official Rules.
Additional Warranties and Indemnity. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual tampering with the Entry process or the operation of the Entry Website or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, modify or suspend this contest, in its entirety should virus, bug, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond Sponsor's control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the contest. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate Entry information whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest by any technical or human errors, which may occur in the processing of the entries in the contest.
